Refractive error and presbyopia.
Sometimes it is the best option to take out a clear lens before a cataract has formed in your eye, or perform early cataract surgery. This is known as refractive lens exchange. These procedures can correct your significant refractive errors such as in myopia or hyperopia – short-sightedness or long-sightedness – and presbyopia, the loss of reading vision. This operation can be combined with a premium multifocal lens implant.
