Detecting and managing glaucoma.
Glaucoma is a disease of the optic nerve at the back of your eye that carries information about sight from your eye to your brain. Most often any damage to the optic nerve is caused by high pressure in your eye itself.
The management of glaucoma has changed dramatically over the past 15 years. Peter Baranyovits has all of the latest technology required, and years of experience to detect early glaucoma. Treatment is with eye drops, laser procedure and sometimes surgery, mostly carried out at his clinic at Kettering.
