Blepharitis is a condition where the edges of your eyelids can become inflamed and sore. It accounts for an estimated 1 in 20 eye problems reported to GPs and can develop at any age. Dry eye syndrome or disease is a common condition that occurs when your eyes don’t make enough tears or your tears evaporate too quickly.

These conditions are often linked and are a common cause of irritable eyes. They are often not well understood or taken seriously. Mr Baranyovits has a particular interest in managing dry eye and blepharitis and has run a specific clinic for this problem for many years.
